Wanting to be Victorious rather than Victim
Like so many, I'm in the "aftereffects" of my wife leaving me.
After meeting a woman on a mission trip, and falling in love and marrying, I am "dealing" and "processing" exactly what happened. My therapist has indicated that my wife has several characteristics of Narcissistic (5 of 8) and Histrionic (7 of 8) Personality Disorders, and equally important I have a classic "attachment hunger" or "relationship love addicition".
I would appreciate hearing from anyone suffering from the same addicition as mine, as well as anyone having been married to a spouse with a personality disorder. I allowed myself to be stripped of who I knew I was with her "accusations" before leaving.
Really would like someone to just talk to. Blessings
