You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers as you celebrate little Sonia's brief earthly life. May you experience God's peace and comfort in special ways this week. JAZ
Dawn,
Sorry for the delay it getting back to you. As I said to Deborah.... I am not the most computer savey person out there. And I am a little embrassed to admit it .. but I just figured out how my comment wall works..:)
And I have to say thank you....for sharing your feelings with me about Sophia.
I am honored that you feel comfortable enough to open up about her to me.
The way you describe her she sounds aboustely beauitful. ....And by the way you talk about all your childern you can see through your words how much they are loved.
I can't image how diffuclt all of this has been for you. When you say your trying to keep it all together.... my heart just feels for you. I had a miscarrige in between my oldest daughter and middle daughter. I know this is not the same... but I do understand the loss of a child. It is a pain I would not wish on my worst ememy. I have also lost both my partents and other close family relatives and have learn one thing I would like to share.. with you if I may.
It is ok... not always feel like you have to hold it together. It is ok for you to greive your loss. The bible says blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted. May God's promise be felt in your entire family lives.
I am glad that you and your husband are getting some support. to help you through all of this. My prayer for you tonight is that God draw you both even closer together. I pray that your childern & husband help you to keep Sophia memory alive.
May God Bless you.... and know your in my prayers.
Thanks for your kid words. God Bless you as you continue on your journey. All suffering is suffering, and truly cannot be compared. The Lord allows each of us those refining experiences that He sees fit. Some of them really hurt! God Bless and I pray Christmas can be peaceful and enjoyable for you. ttys, Kellie
Prayers to you and your family Dawn, for I have not lost a child and do assume that pain is very overwhelming. I have experienced many painful losses this will be my third holiday season with out my family-just me the the three kids. So I can point you to a web site- callled griefshare.org they have holiday ideas. Also newlife in the tips/articles section they have a listing of health grieving. I have used and refered to both of these many many times. Give your self permission to be sad for this painful season of your life Prayer and my God hold you in His strong arms Sincerely,Jacki
I saw you post about finding a group for people who have lost children after birth and was wondering if you had looked for any SIDS groups in your area.
